Corduroy Turns 40

Corduroy, the well-loved storybook bear who looses a button, turns 40 this year. And like many children’s stories that go on to be timeless classics, this one also met with it’s fair share of rejection on the path to publication.

Stories for Children Article–Marvelous Mosaics

The internet has opened up a host of ways to publish…one of them is e-zines magazines for kids. E-zines are magazines for kids like Cricket or Highlights for Children, but they are on-line, not in print. Stories for Children is one e-zine that you can either view right off the website, or you can download the magazine and actually hear the pages click as you read it on your computer screen.

This month’s edition of Stories for Children includes a non-fiction article I wrote for kids ages 7-9, entitled, Marvelous Mosaics. Enjoy!
