Kid Lit is celebrating Women’s History Month with this fabulous blog. They will be posting and profiling various books about women throughout the month of March.
“The brainchild of library science student Margo Tanenbaum, author of the blog The Fourth Musketeer, and children’s librarian Lisa Taylor, author of the blog Shelf-employed, the blog hopes to help viewers identify “resources, learn about new books on women’s history, and enjoy reflections by some distinguished authors in the field” by featuring a new post by a different children’s book author or blogger who specializes in children’s or YA literature each day of the month.
This year’s theme, Our History is Our Strength, pays tribute to the millions of women who helped create a better world for the times in which they lived—and for future generations.”
